My experience with both wet-lab and computational research has strengthened my ability to communicate across disciplines and understand computational methods on a higher biological level. I am fascinated by the power of machine learning and deep learning models to extract new information from data that manual analysis would otherwise overlook, and I am interested in using them to study causes and potential targets for treatment of disease.
